NOTE: An external 12-volt power supply "jumper" (positive and negative connections) must be used for this testAlso, it is
(Low and High Beam) NOTE: Perform this test in turn on the headlight side of both connectorsAlso, 12-volt external power
supply (jumper) will be needed 3Set the meter selector to the OHMS position4With the power supply still connected, connect
the red tester lead to one copper terminal; connect the black tester lead to the other copper terminal5The meter must show
less than ohmNOTE: If the meter shows more than ohm (even though the "click" was heard in the power supply test), the relay
must be replacedRESISTANCE (RelayBrass Terminals) 1Connect the power supply (positive) to the white wire; connect the power
supply (negative) to the black wire2The low beam of the headlight bulb should illuminate3With the negative power supply still
connected, connect the positive power supply to the yellow wire4The high beam of the headlight bulb should illuminateNOTE:
If the appropriate beam of the headlight bulb did not illuminate, inspect the bulb, the connectors, or the component wiring
