22Connect all remaining electrical connections; then install the battery making sure to connect the positive battery cable
first and the negative cable last23Install the seat making sure it "locks" into position + AT THIS POINT If the technician's
objective is to servicereplace left-side cover oil seals (3), front output joint oil seal (1), rear output joint oil seal
(1), andor the oil trai ner (from beneath he engine transmission), the enginetransmission does not have to be removed from
the frame ! CAUTION If the engine had major overhaul or if any major part was replaced, proper engine break-in procedures
must be followed (see Section 1)If the proper engine break-in procedures are not followed, severe engine damage may result
1Remove the seat2Remove the negative cable from the battery; then remove the positive cableRemove the battery hold-down strap
and the battery vent hose; then remove the battery ! CAUTION Battery acid is harmful if it contacts eyes, skin, or clothingCare
