Manual Transmission 7Install the oil filter drain plug and tighten securely8Install the engine drain plug and tighten to
plug from the bottom of the engine and drain the oil into drain pan 13Remove the oil level stick; the engine oil level should
be above the illustrated "L" mark but not higher than the illustrated "F" mark Do not over-fill the engine with oilAlways
make sure that the oil level is above the "L" mark but not higher than the "F" mark View from Beneath 4Remove the oil filter
plug from the filter mounting boss (located on the front-right side of the transmission case) and allow the filter to drain
completely5Using the Oil Filter Wrench (pln 0444-042) and ratchet handle (or socket or box-end wrench), remove the old oil
filterI NOTE: Clean up any excess oil after removing the filter 14Inspect the area around the drain plug and oil filter for
leaksSTRAINER 6Apply oil to new filter O-ring and check to make sure it is positioned correctly; then install the new oil
