Front Drive Actuator ( FIS500) I NOTE: The actuator is not serviceable componentIf it is defective, it must be replacedI
is shiftedIf no sound is heard, see Section 5If the actuator runs constantly or makes squealing or grinding sounds, the actuator
must be replacedREMOVING INSTALLING 1Ensure that all mounting surfaces are clean and free of debris2Align the actuator with
the selector shaft and slide it forward onto the shaft taking care to engage the cap screw in the slot of the front mountingtab
1Remove the left-front inner fender panel; then disconnect the three-prong connector on the actuator harness2Using T-30 torx
wrench, remove the mounting cap screw from the driveshaft side of the actuator 3Remove the mounting cap screw from below
