NOTE: For ease of removal of components, it is advisable to remove front and rear racks, fenders, and side panels prior to
engine removal 5Drain the coolant from the cooling system; then drain the oil from the engineltransmission AT THIS POINT
If the technician's objective is to servicelreplace recoil starter, alternatorlrotor flywheel, stator, pick-up coil, starter
torque limiter, primary cam chain, water pump impellerlseal, starter clutch, and starter clutch gear, the enginetransmission
does not have to be removed from the frame Secure the ATV on support stand to elevate the wheels Make sure the ATV is solidly
supported on the support stand to avoid injury 6Remove the reinstallable rivets securing the right-side and left-side panels;
