Always disconnect the battery when performing resistance tests to avoid damaging the multimeter 1Set the meter selector to
no voltageI NOTE: When testing the HI fuse holder, the headlight dimmer switch must be in the HI position; when testing the
LIGHTS fuse holder, the headlight dimmer switch can be in either position Ignition Coil On the 2501300, the ignition coil
is attached to the upper frame behind the right-hand side panelTo access the coil, the seat and right-hand side panel must
be removed (see Section 8)On the 400 ACTITRV, the ignition coil is on top of the engineTo access the coil, the seat and gas
tank (see 4) the FISlTBXl5001650 Hll650 V-Twin, the ignition coil is on the left-side frame above the engineTo access the
coil, the left-side panel (see Section 2) must be removedVOLTAGE (Primary Side) INOTE: The ignition switch must be in the
ON position; the emergency stop switch must be in the RUN positionAlso, the whitelblue wire must be disconnected from the
coil INOTE: If the meter shows no battery voltage, troubleshoot the battery, switches, fuse block, or the main wiring harness
