0.10-0.15 mm (0.0039-0.0059 in 0.20-0.25 mm (0.0079-0.0098 in NOTE: The seat, air filter housing, front fenders, front inner
covers, and side panels must be removed for this procedure 1Remove the cap screws securing the recoil starter; then remove
the recoil starter assembly2Remove the timing inspection plug; then remove the four tappet covers (for more detailed information,
see SectionServicing Top-Side Components)3Rotate the crankshaft counterclockwise to the TDC position on the compression stroke
indicated by the TF mark on the flywheelTF is top dead center frontNOTE: At this point, the rocker arms and adjuster screws
must not have pressure on themNOTE: Use Valve Gap Adjuster (pn 0444-092) for this procedure 5Rotate the crankshaft counterclockwise
