any way, replacement is necessary VALVE ASSEMBLY 13To remove the assembly, remove the nut securing the secondary drive gear
and secondary driven gear; then from the inside of the crankcase using rubber mallet, remove the output shaft assemblyAccount
for the output shaft, two gears, shim, washer, and the nut When servicing valve assembly, inspect valve seats, valve stems,
valve faces, and valve stem ends for pits, burn marks, or other signs of abnormal wearNOTE: Whenever valve is out of tolerance,
it must be replaced CleaningInspecting Valve Cover NOTE: If the valve cover cannot be trued, the cylinder head assembly must
be replaced 1Wash the valve cover in parts-cleaning solvent2Place the valve cover on the Surface Plate (pn 0644-016) covered
with #400 grit wet-or-dry sandpaperUsing light pressure, move the valve cover in figure eight motionInspect the sealing surface
