Tilt Sensor Voltage (650 V-Twin) ! WARNING Incorrect installation of the tilt sensor could cause sudden loss of engine power
wire (A) 1Connect the three-wire plug to the sensor; then remove the right-side mounting screw securing the sensor to the
rear frame 2Turn the ignition switch to the ON positionThe multimeter should read battery voltageIf battery voltage is not
indicated, check the 30-amp fuse, wiring harness, or the ignition switch3Remove the red tester lead and connect to the bluebrown
wire (B)The multimeter should read 5.0 DC voltsIf the specified voltage is not indicated, check wire connections at the CDI
or substitute another CDI to verify the test 2Install the needle adapters to the multimeter leads; then select DC Voltage
