100-Hour Belt Inspection Mode Clearing (650 V-Twin) Every 100 hours, the word BELT will appear to alert for inspectionSee
and the belt indicator switch connector; then turn the ignition switch to the ON positionThe belt indicator should go off
2Use the multimeter and select the ohms function; then measure resistance as follows: pins (red)(black), 3-15 ohms; pins
(orange)(blue), 3500-6500 ohms; pins (yellow)(blue), 630-5330 ohmsIf readings are not as specified, replace the engine brake
actuator Engine Brake Actuator Resistance (650 V-Twin) 1 NOTE: This component is located on the V-belt cover and controls
drive clutch disengagement through lever linkage Engine Brake Controller Power Supply Voltage (650 V-Twin) 1 NOTE: This component
is located under the seat and controls and drives the engine brake actuator through microprocessor which processes data from
the forwardlreverse detecting sensor and from the speed sensor1 NOTE: For the following tests, make sure the battery is fully
charged1 NOTE: Needle adapters will be required on the multimeter leads as these tests are made with the controller connected
