2Suspend the switch and thermometer in container of water; then heat the waterNOTE: Neither the switch nor the thermometer
reaches 120 (248 F), the meter should read closed circuit4On the coolant temperature switch, allow the water to cool, and
when the temperature is at (or just before) temperature of 113 (235 F), the meter should read an open circuit5On the cooling
fan switch when the temperature reaches 88 (190 F), the meter should read closed circuit6On the cooling fan switch, allow
the water to cool, and when the temperature is at (or just before) temperature of 82 (180 F), the meter should read an open
circuit7If the readings are not as indicated, the switch must be replaced8Install the switch and tighten securely9Connect
