Burnishing Brake Pads Brake pads (both hydraulic and auxiliary) must be burnished to achieve full braking effectivenessBraking
remove the left footwell; then remove the recoil starter assemblyOn the DVX model, proceed to step 2 Coolant The cooling
system should be inspected daily for leakage and damageAlso, the coolant level should be checked periodicallyWhen filling
the cooling system, use pre-mixed Arctic Cat Antifreeze (pn 0638-395)While the cooling system is being filled, air pockets
may develop; therefore, run the engine for five minutes after the initial fill, shut the engine off, and fill the cooling
system reservoir under the seat to the FULL line 2Remove the front and rear V-belt housing cooling ducts3Remove the cap screws
securing the V-belt cover noting the location of the different-lengthed cap screws for installing purposes; then using rubber
mallet, gently tap on the cover tabs to loosen the coverRemove the coverAccount for two alignment pins and one gasket ! CAUTION
