Removing Engine Transmission Many service procedures can be performed without removing the enginetransmission from the frameClosely
observe the note introducing each sub-section for this important information733-441A 6Remove the front and rear fender panels
(see Section 8)7Disconnect the fuel hose (1), carburetor vent hose (2), and the fuel pump vacuum hose (3) from the carburetor
AT THIS POINT If the technician's objective is to servicereplace left-side cover oil seals (3), front output joint oil seal
(1), rear output joint oil seal (1), andor the oil strainer (from beneath the engine transmission), the enginetransmission
does not have to be removed from the frame Secure the ATV on support stand to elevate the wheels ! WARNING Make sure the
ATV is solidly supported on the support stand to avoid injuryCF178A 1Remove the seat; then remove the battery covertool tray
8Disconnect the crankcase vent hose from the air cleaner housingRemove the clamp securing the air intake hose to the carburetor;
