Oil Temperature and Cooling Fan Switches (400) 1 NOTE: This model has an oil temperature switch and cooling fan switch 1Connect
for this testAlso, the ignition switch must be in the OFF position Thermometer 1Set the meter selector to the OHMS position2Connect
the red tester lead to one black wire; then connect the black tester lead to the other black wire 3On the oil temperature
switch when the oil temperature reaches 160' (320' F), the meter should read closed circuit4On the oil temperature switch,
allow the oil to cool, and when the temperature is at (or just before) temperature of 140' (284' F), the meter should read
an open circuit 5On the cooling fan switch when the temperature reaches 120' (248' F), the meter should read closed circuit
6On the cooling fan switch, allow the oil to cool, and when the temperature is at (or "ust before) temperature of 110' (230'
