MAINTENANCE 2Start and run engine for 20-30 secondsThis will return oil to its true level in the oil tank3Stop engine, remove
looking, change the oil 5Allow oil to drain completely6Replace sealing washer (A) on drain plug (B)NOTE: The sealing surfaces
on drain plug and oil tank should be clean and free of burrs, nicks or scratches7Reinstall drain plug (B) and torque to 14
ftlbs(19 Nm)8Loosen clamp (D) on oil hose9Remove oil hose from screen fitting (C) on bottom of oil tank10Remove screen fitting
(C) and clean the screen11Apply Loctite Thread Sealant 565 (PN 2871956) or an equivalent pipe thread sealant or PTFE sealant
tape to clean, oil free threads of fitting (C)12Install screen fitting (C) and rotate minimum of 12 turns (clockwise) into
the tank threadsThen rotate the screen fitting (C) clockwise until the nipple of the screen fitting (C) aligns with the marking
on the tank (see Ill3)NOTE: Maximum torque for the screen fitting (C) is 25 ft.lbs(34 Nm), do not overtighten13Install oil
hose on fitting (C) and reinstall clamp (D) OIL AND FILTER CHANGE WARNING Personal injury can occur when handling used oilHot
