BRAKES 3Install the caliper and torque new mounting bolts to specification CALIPER SERVICE Caliper Removal 12Loosen the (4)
the brake systemVerify fluid level in reservoir is at specified level inside reservoir and install reservoir capInstall the
wheel(s) and wheel nutsTorque wheel nuts to specification 56Remove (2) caliper mounting bolts and remove the caliper assembly
from the bearing carrier Wheel Nuts: Steel Wheels: 45 ftlbs(61 Nm) Aluminum Wheels: 75 ftlbs(102 Nm) Caliper Disassembly
1Push mounting bracket inward and slip the outer brake pad past the edge of the pinRemove the inner brake pad Brake Burnishing
Procedure It is required that burnishing procedure be performed after installation of new brake pads to extend service life
and reduce noiseStart machine and slowly increase speed to 30 mphGradually apply brakes to stop machineAllow pads and disc
to cool sufficiently during the procedureDo not allow pads or disc to become hot or warping may resultRepeat this procedure
