ELECTRONIC FUEL INJECTION IDLE AIR CONTROL (IAC) Operation Overview The Idle Air Control (IAC) is used to stabilize the idle
at it's last operated position Disconnect the vehicle harness from the IAC motorRemove the (3) Phillips-head mounting screws
and remove the IAC from the throttle bodyInstall the new IAC and torque the mounting screws to specification IAC Test The
IAC is non-serviceable itemIf it is faulty, it must be replacedIt can be bench tested' using the following method: Set your
meter to read OhmsCheck the resistance values at each of the following pin locations of the IACIf any of the readings are
out of specification, replace the IAC IAC Mounting Screw Torque: 17.7 inlbs(2 0.5 Nm) 78Reconnect the vehicle harness to
the IAC motorReinstall the throttle body and securely tighten the hose clampsReinstall the rear cargo box, rear service panel
