17 ft.lbs(23 Nm) Pinch Bolt Torque: 17 ftlbs(23 Nm) 9Reassemble spring and top pivot assemblyBe sure all parts are installed
properly and seated fully10Torque strut rod nut to specificationDo not over torque the nutNOTE: Steering post bearing is
shown in exploded view formThis bearing is attached to the post using radial riveting method and is non-serviceable itemSteering
post replacement is required in the event of bearing failureInstall the steering postInstall the steering post nuts at the
mount plateInstall the top steering bracketTorque all fasteners to specificationInstall the steering tie rod ends from the
steering bracket, noting the orientation of the fasteners and bracket on the steering assembly6Install the fuel tank bracket,
handle bar and podTorque fasteners to specification7Check the steering, the handle bars must move freely and easily from
