Carburetor Mixture Adjustment The slow speed mixture in this carburetor is controlled by an adjustable needle and an air
until you reach the highest consistent RPMand turn the needle le revolution counterclockwiseWaiting 15 seconds after each
adjustment, repeat this procedure until you reach the highest consistent RPM 1281 4If the adjustment is too rich, notice
your reference mark If the proper slow speed mixture adjustment cannot be obtained by adjusting the needle two turns from
its reference setting, change the idle mixture air bleed orifice as follows: If the adjustment is too lean, replace the idle
mixture air bleed orifice with the next available smaller orifice If the adjustment is too rich, replace the idle mixture
air bleed orifice with the next available larger orificeReset the needle to 2V2 turns off its seat and repeat Steps thru
45Repeat Steps thru for each carburetor6To test your adjustment, run engine near full throttle for three minutesReturn the
