Submerged Engines Engine Dropped Overboard (Not Running) If engine is recovered from water immediately, it must be serviced
in horizontal position (spark plug openings down) and work out all of the water by slowly rotating flywheel approximately
20 times, or until there are no signs of water5Drain carburetorsplace engine in upright position and remove carburetors for
disassembly and draining 6Starters, electrical connectors, and all electrical equipment should be completely disassembled,
cleaned, flushed with fresh water, treated with water displacing electrical spray, and thoroughly dried before assembly7Inject
outboard lubricant into spark plug holes8Reassemble parts you removed and disconnectedStart engine (follow starting instructions)
and run V2 hour using the "break-in" fueloil mixtureRun the engine on "break-in" fuel oil mixture for approximately three
