Trim-INTiit-DOWN Mode Isl When the hydraulic unit is in the trim-intilt-down mode, the hydraulic fluid is routed in the following

to the pump from beneath the pistonsSome of the fluid from the outlet side of the pump is returned to the reservoir through
the trim-down pump relief valve 6If the switch is held in the down position after the trim and tilt rods are retracted, the
pressure buildup will open the trim-down pump relief valve, and the fluid will be directed back to the reservoirThis valve
opens at approximately 800 psi (4200 kPa)7When the hydraulic unit is tilting downtrimming in, or when the engine is running
