Jet Drive Adjustments Impeller Clearance Adjustment If loss of performance combined with higher than normal wide-open-throttle
will move the impeller down and decrease clearance Moving one shim will reduce clearance approximately 0.004 in(0,1 mm) it
To avoid accidental starting of engine while servicing, twist and remove all spark plug leads 3Remove six screws retaining
the intake housing to the jet housing Remove the intake housing 4Bend tab-lock washer ears and remove impeller nut CDRemove
tab-lock washer and discard 5Remove shims Q), impeller, key, and impeller sleeve from driveshaft6Use flat file and remove
any nicks or burrs from edge of impeller [] 7Transfer one or more shims from bottom to top of impeller !Note! Lubricate impeller
