Solenoid Check All engine wiring must be disconnected from the solenoid before proceeding with this test 1Calibrate ohmmeter
connection, with CIVIC Black Neoprene Dip No Load Current Draw, Electric Starter Securely fasten starter in vise or other
suitable fixture before proceeding with this check1Locate battery rated at 350 cold cranking amps or higher that is in good
condition and fully charged, to perform th is test 2Connect 0-50 amp ammeter in series with heavy jumper between the battery+"
terminal and the starter "+" te rminal3Attach or hold vibration tachometer, such as Frahm Reed tachometer, to the starter
while performing the test4Complete the circuit with heavy jumper between the battery "-" terminal and the starter frame5Monitor
