Break-In Procedure During the first 10 hours of break-in operation, you must use 50:1 fueloil ratio in your fuel tank in
water pump operation by looking for steady stream of water at the water pump indicatorFirst 10 Minutes Operate engine in
gear at fast idle ONLYNext50Minutes DO NOT operate engine above half throttle (no more than 3500 RPM) DO NOT hold constant
throttle settingChange engine speed every 15 minutes With easy planing boats, use full throttle to quickly accelerate boat
onto planeImmediately reduce throttle to one-half as soon as boat is on planeBE SURE boat remains on plane at this throttle
setting Second Hour _ Use full throttle to accelerate boat onto plane, then reduce throttle setting to three-quartersBE SURE
boat remains on plane at this throttle setting At intervals, apply full throttle for periods of one to two minutes, returning
to three-quarters throttle for cooling period Next Eight Hours Avoid continuous full-throttle operation for extended periods
