Section 05 FUEL SYSTEM Sulb-Section03 (CARBURETORS) ASSEMBLY When assembling pump, ensure to properly position components
the end of ruler over lever to check adjustment Pressure Test Proceed as follows- Install pump gaugle tester on carburetor
inlet nippleObstruct outlet nipple with fingerPump tester until inlet rellease pressure is reached (seen by sudden pressure
drop)This must occur within 150-225 kPa (21-32 PSI) then pressure will dropThe pressure drop will vary, but it should not
go less then 100 kPa (1 PSI)NOTEPressure test should be performed three times to obtain valid reading Obstruct outlet Pump
gauge To adjust, bend lever very slightly to change its heightCAUTION :When aldjusting lever, do not pry it so that it applies
