ASSEMBLY 1Install each valve in port from which it was removed or to which it was fitted Install new tem seal on va lve2Install
train parts1Clean all gasket surfa ces to obtain flatsmooth cy 1inder head nd block mating 2Position Dew cylinder head gasket
over linder head dowel on blockPosition cyli nder head on block and install attaching bolts REFACING VALVES 3C linder head
bolts are tightened in Progressive s tepsTo rqu all bolts in sequence and finall to specifications(Figure 18) When head bolts
have be en tightened following this procedureit is not necessary to retorque bolts after extended operation Bolts may be
checkedhowever, and retorqued, if desired 1Closely coordinate va lve refacing operation with valve sea refacing operations
so that finished angles of valve face and of valve seat will meet specifications and provide compression-tight fitBe sure
